                                               Who We Are

Welcome to the Temple Beth Abraham Community

Temple Beth Abraham provides our members with opportunities to create meaningful connections to God, Torah, the Jewish People and our surrounding communities.

We are a Hamische place — welcoming, inclusive, unpretentious, positive and good-hearted.

We embrace all who come through our doors with warmth and caring, with an openness to diversity and a commitment to the dignity of each person in our midst.

We believe in connections to God and to our neighbor, to the timeless wisdom of Torah and the urgency of contemporary debate, to learning and friendship at all stages of life. We use our hearts, minds and hands to fulfill in modern times the ancient prophetic call to Tikkun Olam.

Temple Beth Abraham is a Jewish Community of spirituality and study, a place filled with God’s spirit and human kindness.

We believe that a personal connection to Judaism should be nurtured throughout one’s life, so Temple Beth Abraham offers a wide range of religious, educational, and social programs for all age groups, from pre-school to post retirement. We strive to create an environment in which individuals and families feel comfortable being together, whether they are praying, studying or involved in social action.

We are young and old, from all parts of the world, celebrating and sharing our interests in Judaism, Tikkun Olam (Social Action) and in being part of  a Jewish Community (both locally and globally).

We are unique – we conduct services in both the Conservative and Reform traditions, in two separate chapels.  It is one of the many ways that we acknowledge our 100 year history of diversity and tolerance.

  • The heart of our community is our Social Action or Tikkun Olam program, which partners with God to repair the world.
  • The head is our award winning religious school and engaging adult education programming.
  • and the soul, is our sanctuaries, the sacred space where we come together to express our spirituality.

There is a place for you and your family in our community – join us!
