Away at School (A@S)

Join our “Away@School” Program for your College Student!

Temple Beth Abraham maintains a vital link with our students through our “Away@School” program. It is our way of reminding our students who are away from home and scattered on campuses around the country, that they are still in our thoughts and an important part of our congregational family.

By joining Away@School, your student(s) will receive packages and cards for the Jewish holidays and messages during the year from Rabbi David and Cantor Margot.  TBA will be sending packages or messages this year for Sukkot, Chanukah, Purim, Passover, Yom HaShoah, and Tu BiSh’vat.

If you would like to know more about the program, please send us an email at AwayAtSchool@tba-ny.org with “Away@School” in the subject line.

If you would like to sign up for the program right now (hooray!) please scroll down and fill out the form.

We look forward to keeping in touch with your child as they embark on this journey.

L’shalom,

The Away@School Committee and Cantor Margot Goldberg

If your child is studying abroad or will be out of the United States, unfortunately we will not be able to mail them a package. Of course, you can pick one up at the TBA office and send it on your own. Please indicate the semester they will be studying abroad.

The Away@School Committee is always in need of volunteers to assist with shopping, assembly and the mailing of the packages. If you would like to volunteer, please email Irene at clergyassistant@tba-ny.org and let us know which holidays you are able to help out.
